Eli Schaugh, Intern Therapist

Eli (he/him) works with individuals, couples, and family systems. He works with people who are experiencing trauma or life altering experiences. He has a special passion for working with people and relationships impacted by cancer. He is completing his Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.

Eli is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based method for working with couples to release negative patterns and increase closeness and connection. He believes that when people feel safe and secure in their relationships, even the most difficult and painful problems can be overcome.

Prior to counseling, Eli worked as a coach and trainer with SUCCESS®️, a leading company in the personal development field. Eli was responsible for training and certifying coaches all over the world in effective coaching, leadership, and communication techniques that help people achieve their goals in their business and personal lives. 

Eli is an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, and he welcomes clients of all sexual and gender identities. 

When he’s not working, Eli enjoys traveling with his wife and dog, fencing, singing, and spending time in nature.

Eli sees clients in-person in the Denver office and via Telehealth using a HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform. He has availability Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
