Aleah Harris, MFTC
Aleah (she/her) is a therapist who works with couples, families, and individuals navigating the ripple effects of relational disconnection and conflict—feeling on edge in their closest relationships, replaying old hurts that won't seem to heal, or noticing how past pain shows up in present patterns. Many of the people she works with feel caught between wanting closeness and protecting themselves from getting hurt again, exhausted by conflict that feels impossible to resolve, or overwhelmed by transitions that have shaken their sense of safety and connection.
Aleah helps clients understand the emotional patterns and relational cycles that keep them feeling trapped. Her work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and systems theory—a relational, attachment-based approach that doesn't just help people manage their struggles, but helps them develop more secure, intentional connections with themselves and the people they love. She creates space to explore how past experiences, including trauma, continue to shape how we protect ourselves and reach for others in the present.
She is passionate about supporting clients with trauma, navigating relationship conflict, disconnection, and navigating major life transitions. Aleah is committed to creating an inclusive, collaborative, and affirming therapeutic environment where clients of all identities feel empowered to honestly and authentically express themselves without fear of judgment. She integrates compassion, curiosity, and transparency into her work, helping clients explore, heal, process, and grow.
Aleah holds a Master's in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from The University of Northern Colorado. During her graduate training, she worked in multiple clinical settings including a nonprofit supporting primary and secondary survivors of abuse, as well as a group practice where she worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating a wide spectrum of concerns.
Outside of therapy, Aleah enjoys movement—especially outdoors—spending time with her loved ones and partner, and can often be found sitting on the couch with her cats and a good book or new craft project.
