Debi Lee, Intern Therapist
Debi (she/her) is an intern therapist currently earning her MA from Northwestern University. Her approach is rooted in the belief that we all carry within us the wisdom and resilience needed to heal, grow, and thrive. She sees relationships–especially our romantic partnerships–as powerful mirrors and teachers, offering opportunities for deep self-understanding and transformation. Debi is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and brings this evidence-based approach to her work with adult individuals and couples.
Debi brings a grounded, compassionate presence to her work. She has learned to alchemize her own life challenges and past traumas into strengths that inform her clinical work, including her ability to offer empathic connection, non-judgment, and genuine care. As a child of Korean immigrants, Debi has lived experience navigating identity, racial injustice, and the complexities of belonging. She is deeply committed to cultural humility and social justice in her practice and is an affirming ally to the LGBTQIA+ community.
Debi’s goal in therapy is simple yet powerful: to help clients bring unconscious patterns to light, break out of negative coping cycles, and reconnect with their truest selves. Her work is relational, collaborative, and emotionally attuned. She is focused on creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Before becoming a therapist, Debi spent 15 years as a Sr. Product Manager in the tech industry. Her deep curiosity and passion for personal growth also led her to complete a certification in coaching.
Outside of the therapy room, Debi enjoys laughing with friends, decompressing with yoga, and being a couch potato with her partner and cat.
Debi sees clients both in-person at our Denver office and via secure telehealth. Session rates are $80 for 50 minutes and $120 for 75 minutes. To ensure a good fit, Debi requires a brief video consultation before scheduling your first appointment.
