Devon Cozens, LCSW
Devon (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist who brings warmth, curiosity, and playfulness to her work with people. Her approach is collaborative and relational, grounded in the belief that healing happens in the context of authentic human connection. Devon enjoys helping individuals and couples recognize and move beyond limiting patterns while making sense of life’s most significant experiences. Devon can support identity exploration, adjustment to major life transitions, relationship challenges, and understanding the lasting impact of family dynamics. She is especially passionate about supporting people as they navigate the transition to parenthood.
Devon integrates anti-oppressive, psychodynamic and attachment-based perspectives into therapy. She aims to help clients deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and find new ways of moving through stuck places. Her work draws from her extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps people better understand their emotions and relationship dynamics so they can feel more connected. A psychodynamic lens supports exploring how unconscious patterns and past experiences continue to influence the present. This perspective creates space to intentionally shape the future, supporting both immediate relief and deeper, lasting change.
Devon is currently completing her PhD in Clinical Social Work at Smith College. Outside of the therapy room, she teaches in the MSW program at Metropolitan State University of Denver and is active in research and writing. She loves being outdoors with her two young children, reading, cooking, playing cards, and seeing live music.
Devon offers sessions in person on Mondays and Wednesdays and via HIPAA-compliant telehealth on Thursdays. Her rates are $200 / 50 minute session and $300 / 75 minute session.
