Job Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified therapist to join our team at Colorado Therapy Collective. This position primarily works with individual and couples/relationship clients in a private practice, outpatient therapy setting. The ideal candidate is someone trained in or interested in learning Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
About Colorado Therapy Collective: Colorado Therapy Collective (CTC) is a collaborative community of skillful and caring therapists. CTC is an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) based treatment practice with therapists who have advanced training and certifications in this attachment based, relational therapy model. We work with individuals, couples, and families to improve their relationships with themselves, their partners, and loved ones. CTC therapists specialize in couples therapy, infidelity and affair recovery, relationship/couples therapy for individuals, trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. We are entirely private pay, and are not in-network with insurance companies. We are based in Denver, CO and also work with clients in Greater Colorado via telehealth.
Responsibilities:
Build strong therapeutic alliance with individual, couples/relationship, and family clients
Provide Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) based therapy sessions with clients
Conduct initial new client consultations
Evaluate and assess the mental health and relational health of clients through client intake documents, initial assessment sessions, and other relevant assessment tools
Develop and implement client treatment plans collaboratively with clients
Timely and ethical completion of client documentation
Timely and accurate processing of payment for client counseling sessions
Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment
Effective management of client cases, client communication, and case consultation
Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans, as necessary
Refer clients to specialists for treatment, as necessary
Active engagement in group supervision/consultation with other CTC therapists
Maintain high level of ethical and professional conduct at all times
Required Qualifications (Firm Requirements for the job - Please do not apply unless you meet all of these):
Masters or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work, or degree must be completed prior to start of employment
Valid and appropriate licensure with the state of Colorado in any of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC), or must acquire appropriate licensure prior to start of employment
Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment
Strong clinical, communication, and timely documentation skills
Strong clinical skills and communication skills
Excellent ability to work both independently and cooperatively as a team member
Interest and willingness to work from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) framework
LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist
Availability to work least three evenings per week until 8pm
Weekend availability is required and may be substituted for evening availability.
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years experience providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services with adolescent and/or adult clients
Experience working with couples/relationship clients
Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (Externship and/or Core Skills completion), and/or willingness to complete the EFT introduction Externship training within 3 months of the start of employment
Strong organizational skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
On-going personal and professional development
Job Type: Full-time positions available
Location: Positions available both in-person at the Colorado Therapy Collective office in Denver, CO and remote via a HIPAA secure telehealth video platform
Reports to: CTC clinical supervisor
Income Summary:
Compensation: Schedule and income that grows with your caseload
The estimated annual income for a Licensed Therapist working 20-25 client hours/week is $96,000-$174,000 and includes 4 weeks of vacation/year. Overall estimated annual income inclusive of compensation and benefits is $$111,000-$179,000 and includes 4 weeks of vacation.
The estimated annual income for a Post-graduate, Pre-licensure Therapist working 20-25 client hours/week is $59,000-$112,000 and includes 4 weeks of vacation/year. Overall estimated annual income inclusive of compensation and benefits is $74,000-$120,000 and includes 4 weeks of vacation.
